Trade & collaboration

Build the right conversations.

A research-led route for businesses, universities and visiting delegations exploring the Island’s place in the agentic economy.

Arrive with a question worth answering

A useful trade visit starts with a bounded problem and a plausible customer. Which verification cost could be reduced? Which permission is difficult to establish? Which workflow has enough value to justify independent assurance? A demonstration is most useful when it can answer a buyer's question.

Three collaboration tracks

  1. Maritime and aviation: work with asset managers and service firms on administrative reconciliation, document expiry and accountable procurement preparation.
  2. Data and professional services: compare rights documentation, commercial licensing, quality assurance and dispute processes across jurisdictions.
  3. Research and public capability: design studies of accepted output, household participation and the capacity to inspect, override and replace delegated systems.

A route into the ecosystem

Use the official Department for Enterprise, Digital Isle of Man and registry services to identify the appropriate institutional route. This independent project cannot arrange official meetings, confer endorsement or speak for a regulator. The planner below produces a suggested agenda, not a confirmed trade mission.

What to bring

A one-page workflow, its present cost, the intended customer, a rights and data-access map, and an evaluation plan. Specify who can authorise a pilot and who would bear a loss. Seek an independent assessor before describing a result as validated.
